I had this convo with BB this morning. Knowing how painful it is to simply suck in a little water, can you imagine being under water, knowing you will eventually have to take a “breath” of water?? Horrific.

While that breath is painful and the thought of it horrific, it means survival. And one thing I know about BB — and I’ve learned to accept about myself — we are fighters. But more importantly, survivors. That one breath can lead to a breakthrough. That one breath gives us the power (even through the fucking pain) to rise again.

Great point… as long as that breath is taken above the surface. What haunts me is the thought of being fully submerged, holding your breath…knowing at some point you will have to release it and inhale WATER.
